Greetings from Orange City! I’m Ethan Huizenga, the elder law and estate planning attorney at the Huizenga Law Firm.
I started the Huizenga Law Firm in 2010 to fulfill my calling: clear away the fog of confusion around planning for the end of your life. It’s my mission to help you and your family find security during the times when things seem the least secure.
Most people don’t sit down to think about estate planning until something forces them to. A health scare. A parent who needs a nursing home. A spouse who can’t make decisions anymore. By then, the choices are harder and the options are fewer.
I’ve sat across from hundreds of families in exactly that spot. Whatever you’re worried about, I’ve probably heard it. My job is to slow things down, explain what’s happening in plain language, and help you make good decisions for the people you love.
My faith anchors why I show up for this work. Helping families be good stewards of what they’ve built isn’t just a service. It’s my calling.
At home, I’m husband to Amber and dad to Jacen, Archer, and Kaly. I play guitar, cook, and run a movie podcast because I’ve never been able to watch a film without wanting to talk about it afterward.
